Atlantis Rail Cable Stabilizers are purposed for use in maintaining code compliant cable spacing between post and rail sections with spacing greater than 4 feet between posts and not exceeding 7 feet. The Cable Stabilizer is not to be used as a post due to it not being a structural component. Do not rely on the cable stabilizer to support the rail or add stability. The only function of the cable stabilizer is to maintain cable spacing.

Types Of Cable Stabilizers
At Atlantis Rail, we offer cable stabilizers in stainless steel or aluminum for both level sections and stair applications. Aluminum cable stabilizers come in powder-coated color options, black, bronze, white, and metallic silver and cable grommets are required for installation.
Cable Stabilizer Kit
The Cable Stabilizer Kit is designed for instances where post-to-post measurements span over 4’, allowing you to adapt longer spans to code compliance by stabilizing the deflection of the cable between posts. Each kit contains a 42” stanchion pre-drilled to work with our standard 3” spacing. The Cable Stabilizer Kit cannot be used to replace the use of substantial mid posts and should never be used in spans over 7’.
Cable Stabilizer Stair Kit
The Cable Stabilizer Stair Kit is designed specifically for stairs where post-to-post measurements span over 4’. Each kit contains a 42” stanchion pre-slotted to work with our standard 3” spacing. The Cable Stabilizer Stair Kit cannot be used to replace the use of substantial mid posts and should never be used in spans over 7’.
Cable Stabilizer Kit For 2” Tubing
The Cable Stabilizer Kit is designed for instances where post-to-post measurements span over 4’. Each kit contains a 42” stanchion pre-drilled to work with our standard 3” spacing. The stabilizer connector allows for a 2” round top rail to fit flush to the top of the stabilizer. The Cable Stabilizer Stair Kit cannot be used to replace the use of substantial mid posts and should never be used in spans over 7’.
Spectrum Cable Stabilizer
The Spectrum Surface Mount Cable Stabilizer Kit is designed specifically for use in a Spectrum surface mounted system where post-to-post measurements span over 4’. Each kit contains a pre-drilled stanchion to work with the standard spacing of the Spectrum posts. This Cable Stabilizer Kit cannot be used to replace the use of substantial mid posts and should never be used in spans over 6’.
Aluminum Cable Stabilizer Kit
The Aluminum Cable Stabilizer Kit is designed specifically for use where post-to-post measurements span over 4 feet. Each kit contains a 42” stanchion, mounting hardware, 3” hole spacing, and fasteners. Cut at both ends for an accurate fit. This Kit cannot be used to replace the use of a substantial mid post and should never be used in spans over 7’. Aluminum cable stabilizer kits are available for level and stair applications. Grommets are required for installation.
