Cable Railing with Powder-Coated Aluminum Posts & Rails
The NOVA System features powder-coated aluminum posts, guardrails and optional foot rails, and horizontal cable infill. The cable infill utilizes HandiSwage™ stainless steel hand swage fittings with 1/8” cable. This system is completely off-the-shelf and features minimal components. The framework is made up of 3” x 3” posts, colonial style (“bread loaf”) top rail and no bottom rail. The straight and stair rail kits are available in 6’ lengths and post kits come pre-drilled for 3” cable spacing in heights of 36” or 42”. Each post and rail kit includes everything needed for installation. Post mounting hardware, cable and cable mounting hardware are sold separately. HandiSwage™ 1/8″ Cable
This cable features a 1×19 construction and is available in a 1/8″ diameter. Spools are available in 100′, 250′, 500′ and 1,000′.
Spectrum, NOVA and ORION System Cable Grommets
These grommets are used with 1/8” cable for the Spectrum or NOVA Systems. They snap onto the cable and slide into post and stabilizer holes.
TOOLS
HandiSwage™ Combination Wrench Set
The HandiSwage™ Combination Wrench Set includes 2, 3/8” and 7/16” combination wrenches and is used to aid in the installation of HandiSwage™ and Deluxe Cover Nut Sets.
Cable Grip Pad
Use a Cable Grip Pad with vice grips when tensioning the cable runs. This prevents damage during installation.
HandiSwage™ Hand Swager
The HandiSwage™ Hand Swager features rubber handles for optimal gripping and swages fittings onto 1/8″, 5/32″ and 3/16″ cable.

Use the NOVA II Stair Rail Section Kit for railing on stair sections. Offered in 6 foot standard lengths and include mounting hardware.
NOVA & ORION Stud
Supplied with NOVA and ORION 36” and 42” corner posts, these studs are threaded into the post and mechanically attached to the cable using simple wrenches.
