Rail Easy Turnbuckle Installation

Just 4 Easy Installation Steps

Step 1 – Cutting Cable to length

Screw all turnbuckle receiver screws out evenly about ½” for every 20 ft of run. Measure the length of Cable required from the hex of the cone to the opposing turnbuckles hex of the cone. Cut a piece of Cable, using the special cutters.

Step 2 - Seat Cable in the Turnbuckle receiver.

Unscrew the cone but do not disassemble completely. Push the end of the Cable through the cone and wedge till it seats fully in the receiver, twist if necessary to seat fully. Tighten the cone on the receiver till aluminum wedge locks the Cable in place.

Step 3 - Tighten cone onto receiver.
Tighten the cone on the receiver till aluminum wedge locks the Cable in place.

Step 4 - Rotate body to tension wire rope.
Placing an allen wrench through the hole in the back of the RailEasy Turnbuckle and a wrench on the bolt just below the cone, rotate the allen wrench to Tension Cable and complete assembly.
